Ladies and Gentlemen, good afternoon.
It is wonderful to be able to speak to you through this video message. I wish I could be with you on this occasion, but I cannot. Education has been the most exciting and valuable experience of my life. I have never regretted the time spent in learning and then using the knowledge I acquired. Education helps one understand what things are and how they work. It allows one to make life better. Education is something nobody can take away from anyone.
All human progress has come from knowledge and advancement of science. As an American I am proud of how we have been able to create knowledge and make a better living for millions of people around the world, as well as ourselves. The long rich history of India and its focus on education has helped it achieve great progress and will continue to do so in the future.
I hope that the students at this college will devote their full energies and efforts to getting the best education they can. The knowledge acquired at this college will help students, their families, India, and the entire world. Education will make students better citizens, mothers, and productive people in today’s knowledge based society.
Education never dies; it is a gift that continues forever. I am happy to be a part of you through this college. My best wishes for the future of this college and everyone associated with it.
Thank you,
Mrs. Helena Kaushik
