Resources & Environment Group, Inc. (REG,Inc.)

is a nonprofit organization with tax-exempt status from the IRS registered in New York State in 1996. REG,Inc.is a nonpartisan organization that:

•Conducts policy research in equitable and sustainable use of water resources, energy, and economic development.

•Promotes betterment and empowerment of women through education and policy advisement.

•Promotes educational and cultural programs.

•Provides policy recommendations to national and international entities.

•Conducts research on issues relevant to developed as well as emerging economies of all continents.

•Is a member of the Global Water Partnership (GWP), Stockholm

Resources and Environment Group (REG)® undertakes policy research, provides advisory services and facilitates stakeholder participation in equitable and sustainable management of water and energy resources in developing countries. The aim is to evolve consensus on policy and implementation strategies that benefit the poorest of the poor.

REG activities include:

•Policy research on interfaces among resources, environment, public health, poverty alleviation and development;

•Analysis of policy options that include legislation and regulation, resource pricing, use of pollution charges and other market-based instruments;

•Evaluation of innovative financing packages for investors/consumers;

•Studies on impact evaluation of innovative institutional and financing practices

•Facilitating stakeholder participation and empowerment of women, community groups and NGOs through its many activities including India Water Partnership.

REG services include organizing stakeholder participation meetings, disseminating synthesized knowledge and impact evaluations and providing advisory services on innovative financing and capacity building.

Mrs. Helena Kaushik Women's College

is accredited as an institution of higher education by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Rajasthan. It is affiliated with the University of Rajasthan, which approves its courses and grants degrees to graduates of this college.

The College adheres to the highest standards for courses, facilities and faculty set by the University Grants Commission of India (the highest educational body at the national level).
