The College Seeks Your Support

To help the College, and thus the women of India, we welcome: donations of books and other items; student and faculty exchanges; and visits by American faculty, entrepreneurs, executives, women’s groups, and others. Your contribution will help lift out of poverty young women in a poor rural community in India. It will allow these women to fulfill their potential in Indian society. According to studies of the economic development of developing countries, there is no better investment than educating women. Moreover, a dollar has 12.5 times more purchasing power in India than in the US-a comparable sq. ft. of space costs $20 in India and $250 in the US.

Mrs. Helena Kaushik Women's College is a non-profit institution funded mainly by supporters in the United States and India. Make your tax-deductible contribution of cash, securities, and assets and services in kind.

As of 2011/2012, degree programs are offered in the arts, sciences including biotechnology, business and a college of education was added in 2007/2008. Business programs at the bachelors level were added in 2009/2010. A college of health sciences, a college of law, a college of computer and information systems, and a college of environment sciences are envisioned in the next five years. It is also a goal of the college to become a women's university with all the above faculties in place by 2015.

Support of the college by visits, lectures, research efforts, performances, student exchanges, faculty exchanges, naming of rooms and buildings, scholarships, professorships, research labs, specific areas of studies in colleges, and all other ways of supporting an institution of higher education normally practiced around the world are most welcome.
